Established in 2006 in London, Y.T.D. Ltd has become one of the largest hardwood and vinyl flooring manufacturers and distributors in the UK and Europe. We have built up a strong and stable supply chain and distribution network ever since, from the very beginning of sourcing timber, to the final stage of delivering finished wood flooring to consumers. With many years of industry experience in flooring, Y.T.D. Ltd has been committed to providing the finest flooring at the most competitive price in the market. Not only do we distribute pallets to UK and European market, we also supply direct containers globally to many other countries in the world. In UK and Europe, we have been stocking an incredibly broad range of products, from gorgeous engineered and solid oak to elegant vinyl flooring. With an overall landed stock of almost 2,000 pallets, we are one of the foremost flooring companies supplying wholesalers, retail shops and also architects in the UK and Europe. We keep a broad portfolio of products to cater for every taste, but it does not stop there, we have been continually working closely together with our customers to keep up with the trend, and researching new ideas and products to lead the trend too. Because we love wood for her beauty from nature. Nothing pleases us more than delivering this beauty to anyone shares the same passion!
Our History
The first set of solid oak furniture was designed in the UK by the founder of YTD Ltd, Jordan Zhang, and the production was completed in China after passing all sorts of strict quality tests.
YTD’s first show-time as an exhibitor at UK’s major trade fairs and Chinese trading shows proved to be a great success. The first container of oak furniture was sold to the UK market.
Selling solid wood furnitureto Europe, and introducing first container of solid oak flooring to the UK market at £9.99/m2
YTD (UK) Ltd was registered in London. Exhibiting at Domotex Hannover show and the UK National Floor show and again made a huge success. Shenyang production started.
YTD’s first London warehouse for UK national distribution and landed stock serving both our wholesale and container business. Exhibiting at the London Flooring Show and Domotex Shanghai, selling the first 100thcontainers of solid oak flooring to European market, for which we started our own production in Dalian (northeast China).
We started exhibition at Domotex Dubai. This show opened the door to Middle-East market and we started to work with global contractors and supply international projects.
Started the second distribution centre in Felixstowe. Within this year, we had shipped more than 500 containers to Europe. Change was made to get about 80% of our timber from Europe.
We started Zhejiang product (south China). Started third distribution warehouse in Southampton, UK.
Launched new range of antique distressed products into UK market, British handmade premium products became an instant hit.
Started European production and London production in order to meet high expectations from our strategic accounts. UK next-day distribution network was setup and put in use.
Set up our first European distribution centre in Antwerp, Belgium. Second Dalian production started in this year too.
2015 – 2017. A few more new markets have been cracked and developed in countries like Australia, Mexico, Japan etc. Many new antique furniture products are being market-tested and developed.
Purchased own office and warehouse (18,064.26 square foot/1678.17 square metre) in Chertsey, southwest London and opening up “BML Europe”(柏摩国际家居) first flag store in Dalian, China.
